Regular Season Round 3: Pozega - Ragusa 60-80

The game in Pozega supposed to be also quite interesting. Ragusa (3-0) played at the court of Pozega (1-2). Ragusa did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 80-60 on Sunday. Ragusa shot 17 for 23 from the free-throw line, while Pozega only scored one point from the stripe. They also forced 20 Pozega turnovers. It was a great evening for forward Iva Tokic (179-2007) who led her team to a victory scoring 30 points and 7 rebounds. Swingman Romana Stojanovic (186-1993) helped adding 19 points and 14 rebounds. The best for the losing side was the former international center Emilija Podrug (190-1979) with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 18 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international forward Jelena Ivezic (183-1984) scored 20 points and 5 rebounds. Pozega's coach Vladimir Englman rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Ragusa will meet at home Tresnjevka (#4) in the next round. Pozega will play against KAZL Split and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
