Regular Season Round 2: Calais - CFBB 79-60

Calais used a home court advantage and rolled over the opponent from Paris 79-60 on Friday night. Calais dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to CFBB's 40. Calais forced 23 CFBB turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by CFBB's players. American forward Shakayla Thomas (180-1996, college: FSU) notched 23 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and guard Fleur Devillers (180-1995, agency: Basket Promotion Agency) supported her with 23 points. Even 13 points and 5 rebounds by forward Saulnier Ysaline (180-2005) did not help to save the game for CFBB. Forward Nell Angloma (181-2006) added 14 points for the guests. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Calais will meet Aulnoye on the road in the next round. CFBB will play against Feytiat and hope to win that game.
