Undefeated Split (3-1) recorded its first loss at the home court. Hosts were defeated by seventh ranked Zadar (3-1) 89-83. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Split. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Zadar made 21-of-26 charity shots (80.8 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. Split was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Dario Dreznjak (204-1998) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 8 rebounds. Bosnian guard Sani Campara (190-1999) contributed with 17 points for the winners. American Shannon Shorter (193-1989, college: N.Texas) replied with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists and center Josip Jukic (205-1996) added 12 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Split. Five Zadar and four Split players scored in double figures. Zadar moved-up to second place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Split.
