Regular Season Round 4: Navarra - Melilla 95-84

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 8th ranked Melilla (2-2) lost to ninth ranked Navarra (2-2) in Pamplona 84-95 on Saturday. Strangely Melilla outrebounded Navarra 47-34 including 18 on the offensive glass. The winners were led by forward Pau Trevino (202-2002) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and guard Raul Lobaco (195-2000) supported him with 24 points. Navarra's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even a double-double of 20 points and 13 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) by Senegalese center Massine Fall (208-1993) did not help to save the game for Melilla. American forward Adam Fravert (203, college: UW-Oshkosh) added 17 points and 11 rebounds for lost side. Four Navarra and five Melilla players scored in double figures. Navarra moved-up to sixth place in Silver. Navarra will meet at home Zamora (#14) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Melilla will play against Clavijo (#5) and hope to secure a win.
