Regular Season Round 7: Peja - Rahoveci 86-76
Date: October 22, 2022
No shocking result in a game when leader Peja (7-0) beat at home bottom-ranked Rahoveci (1-6) 86-76 on Saturday. American players dominated the game. It was an exceptional evening for Jalen Tate (198-1998, college: Arkansas) who led the winners and scored 20 points and 6 rebounds. Rodney Purvis (193-1994, college: UConn) accounted for 22 points and 5 assists for the winning side. Forward Isaiah Manderson (206-1994, college: S.Florida) came up with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 13 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws) and point guard Jahii Carson (178-1992, college: Arizona St.) added 16 points and 11 assists respectively for Rahoveci in the defeat. Four Rahoveci players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the seventh consecutive win for Peja. They maintain first place with 7-0 record. Rahoveci lost their sixth game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with six games lost. Peja will meet at home league's second-placed Prishtina in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Rahoveci will play against Ylli (#6) in Therande and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
