There was no surprise in Oslo where 6th ranked Centrum (3-5) was defeated by leader Gimle (0-0) 67-53 on Saturday. Strangely Centrum outrebounded Gimle 41-28 including a 35-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. The former international guard Mikkel Kolstad (193-1995, college: Nova SE) stepped up and scored 24 points and 4 assists for the winners and Serbian-Montenegrin center Milovan Savic (205-1987) chipped in 12 points and 13 rebounds. The former international power forward Johannes Dolven (206-1996, college: Barry) responded with 21 points and 8 rebounds and guard Christoffer Heggelund (188-2000) scored 5 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Centrum's coach tested ten players and allowed the starting five to rest. Defending champion maintains th place with 0-0 record. Loser Centrum dropped to the seventh position with five games lost. Gimle will meet Nidaros Jets (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Centrum will have a break next round.
