The game in Svit supposed to be also quite interesting. 5th ranked Prievidza (2-3) played at the court of seventh ranked Iskra Svit (2-3). Iskra Svit smashed Prievidza 92-71 on Saturday. Iskra Svit dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Prievidza's 24. The best player for the winners was Brazilian forward Kayo Goncalves (203-1999, college: USA) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. American point guard Tavon King (180-1997, college: Cumberland) chipped in 21 points and 4 assists. Five Iskra Svit players scored in double figures. Iskra Svit's coach Oleg Meleshchenko felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. American forward Kellon Taylor (198-1998, college: McNeese St., agency: Players Group) produced 18 points and 7 rebounds and Serbian forward Dusan Hukic (210-1993) added 15 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the guests. Iskra Svit moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Prievidza and Lucenec. Iskra Svit will meet Lucenec (#6) on the road in the next round. Prievidza will play against the league's second-placed Spisski Rytieri and hope to secure a win.
