The most interesting game of round 5 was a home defeat of second-ranked Spisski Rytieri (3-2) by first ranked Levice (4-1) who outscored them by 16 points 94-78 in the game for the first place. It ended the three-game winning streak of Spisski Rytieri. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Americans were the main players on the court. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Defending champion maintains first place with 4-1 record. Spisski Rytieri at the other side keeps the second position with two games lost. They share it with Inter Bratislava and Komarno. Levice are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Handlova (#8) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Spisski Rytieri will play against Prievidza (#7) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
