Very expected game in Czestochowa where bottom-ranked Wisla Krakow (0-5) was defeated by eighth ranked Iskra Cz (3-2) 90-80 on Saturday. Iskra Cz dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Wisla Krakow's 40. Iskra Cz forced 19 Wisla Krakow turnovers and outrebounded them 42-29 including 31 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was Ukrainian swingman Yaroslav Fomichov (196-1994) who scored 24 points and 5 rebounds. Guard Adam Michalak (191-2000) chipped in 10 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Jakub Iskra (193-2001) produced 17 points and 6 rebounds and forward Grzegorz Idziak (193-2004) added 17 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests.
