Rather predictable result in Rzeszow where fourth ranked Resovia (4-1) smashed 7th ranked MKS DG 2 (2-2) 123-84 on Saturday. Resovia dominated down low during the game scoring 82 of its points in the paint compared to MKS DG 2's 32. Resovia forced 29 MKS DG 2 turnovers and outrebounded them 48-29 including a 17-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by MKS DG 2's players. The best player for the winners was Adrian Warszawski (201-1996) who had a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds. Konrad Mamcarczyk (190-1994) chipped in 22 points and 5 assists (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field). Guard Kacper Indyk (200) produced 13 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Kacper Margiciok (191-2003) added 13 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the guests. Four Resovia and five MKS DG 2 players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Resovia. They moved-up to third place in Group C, which they share with UR Krakow. Loser MKS DG 2 dropped to the sixth position with two games lost. They share it with AGH 2 and Tarn.Gory. Resovia will meet AZS PC (#13) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. MKS DG 2 will play against Iskra Cz (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
