Regular Season Round 4: Ragusa - Tresnjevka 80-79

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Ragusa as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Ragusa edged 5th ranked Tresnjevka in Dubrovnik 80-79. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Tresnjevka. Ragusa forced 29 Tresnjevka turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Iva Todoric (174-1993) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points, 14 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. Power forward Ana Vrsaljko (188-1984) contributed with 19 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Ragusa players scored in double figures. The former international guard Lana Packovski (172-1994) replied with 36 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 6 assists and Lucija Banovic (183-2005) added 6 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Tresnjevka. Ragusa have a solid four-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Zagreb. Tresnjevka at the other side dropped to the sixth place with two games lost. Tresnjevka will play next round against strong KAZL Split trying to get back on the winning streak. Ragusa will try to continue on its current victory against eleventh ranked Brod na Savi in Slavonski Brod.
