Very predictable result in Corugate where Milano (3-0) outscored Carugate (1-2) 86-55 on Saturday. Milano dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Carugate's 34. They outrebounded Carugate 53-30 including a 17-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Milano looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Carugate's players. It was a great evening for Dutch center Richelle Van Der Keijl (196-1993, college: N.Mexico) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Milano will meet at home Bolzano AV (#5) in the next round. Carugate will play against Broni (#6) and hope to win that game.
