There was a minor upset when higher ranked Brescia (2-2) was edged on the road by eleventh ranked Brindisi (2-2) 82-81 on Sunday. Americans were the main players on the court. Guard Marcquise Reed (190-1995, college: Clemson, agency: Pensack Sports) fired 19 points and 5 assists for the winners. Power forward Nick Perkins (203-1996, college: Buffalo) chipped in 16 points and 5 rebounds. Point guard Troy Caupain (193-1995, college: Cincinnati, agency: Octagon Europe) produced 22 points and guard CJ Massinburg (190-1997, college: Buffalo) added 12 points respectively for lost side. Five Brescia players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game.
