Regular Season Round 4: Jesi - Firenze 86-79

There was a surprise result when fifth ranked Jesi (3-1) defeated at home top-ranked Firenze (3-1) 86-79 on Sunday. It was a key game for the second position in B. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Roberto Marulli (190-1991) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and point guard Daniele Merletto (175-1993) who added 12 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Four Jesi players scored in double figures. At the losing side Marco Lagana (197-1993) responded with 34 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds and Lorenzo Passoni (197-1997) scored 20 points and 5 rebounds. Jesi moved-up to second place in B, which they share with Vicenza. Jesi will meet Fabriano (#12) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Firenze will play against Empoli (#16) and hope to secure a win.
