Very expected game when Tenerife (1-3) was defeated on the road by Zaragoza (3-1) 68-50 on Sunday. Zaragoza made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Vega Gimeno (185-1991, college: RMU) who scored 16 points and 6 rebounds. German Leonie Fiebich (193-2000) chipped in 11 points and 9 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Aisha Sheppard (175-1998, college: Virginia Tech, agency: Green Sports Management) who recorded 17 points and guard Gabriela Ocete (170-1988) added 5 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals respectively.
