Very important is a road loss of third ranked Polonia W-wa (2-1) against fifth ranked Lublin (3-1) on Sunday night. Visiting Polonia W-wa was defeated by Lublin in a tough game in Lublin 70-75. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Polonia W-wa. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Lublin made 7 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Natasha Mack (193-1997, college: OK State, agency: LBM Management) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 29 points, 19 rebounds and 4 blocks and the other American import guard Nia Clouden (175-2000, college: Michigan St.) who added 17 points and 5 rebounds during the contest (made all of her seven free throws). At the losing side center Martyna Leszczynska (190-2000) responded with 20 points and 6 rebounds and Serbian forward Andjelina Radic (187-1994) scored 16 points and 5 rebounds. Polonia W-wa's coach Maciej Gordon tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Lublin moved-up to second place, which they share with Arka Gdynia. Loser Polonia W-wa dropped to the fourth position with one game lost. They share it with Polkowice and Sosnowiec. Lublin will meet at home Sosnowiec (#6) in the next round. Polonia W-wa will have a break next round.
