Les Sangliers can celebrate finally their first win this season after five consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Soleuvre (0-7) 91-59. Les Sangliers made 17-of-18 charity shots (94.4 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of Serbian guard Hristina Marjanovic (175-1992) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. American forward Amaya Scott (185, college: GMU) contributed with 24 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Les Sangliers players scored in double figures. Canadian swingman Madison Torresin (183-1996, college: W.Chester) answered with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds and Ophelie Delepierre added 12 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Soleuvre. Soleuvre's coach Alain Schaeffer gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Les Sangliers maintains tenth place with 1-5 record. It was Soleuvre's seventh loss in a row. Newly promoted team still closes the standings with seven games lost. Les Sangliers will play against higher ranked Esch (#9) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Soleuvre will play against Grengewald and hopes to get finally their first victory.
