Rather predictable result in Rishon Le-Zion where Maccabi Rishon (3-0) beat M.Ramat Gan (1-2) 85-69 on Thursday. It was a great evening for power forward Jonatan Mor (204-1995) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 11 rebounds. American forward Rakeem Buckles (202-1990, college: FIU, agency: GoEmpire Group) helped adding 19 points and 7 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American guard Kevin Capers (188-1993, college: FSC, agency: BIG) with 20 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and naturalized American forward Elijah Hirsh (203-1997, college: Berry) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. Four M.Ramat Gan players scored in double figures. Maccabi Rishon will meet H.Afula on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. M.Ramat Gan will play against H.Hevel Modi'in (#13) and hope to win that game.
