Stal outrebounded Enea Astoria 40-23 including 25 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international power forward Damian Kulig (205-1987, agency: BeoBasket) who scored 28 points and 8 rebounds (perfect from downtown making all six shots !!!). Montenegrin Nemanja Djurisic (202-1992, college: Georgia) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American-Dominican point guard Eddy Polanco (193-1994, college: SE Louisiana) who recorded 16 points and American point guard Mike Smith (180-1997, college: Michigan) added 13 points and 4 assists respectively. Five Stal and four Enea Astoria players scored in double figures. They share the position with Twarde Pierniki. Stal will meet at home GTK (#13) in the next round which should be another easy win for them.
