Regular Season Round 4: HBA-Marsky - Bisons 70-75

Round 4 most important game was a victory of Bisons over one of their biggest challengers HBA-Marsky 75-70 on Friday night. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of HBA-Marsky. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But HBA-Marsky won fourth quarter 23-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded HBA-Marsky 44-32 including 18 on the offensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman Jordan Roberts (203, college: LBSU, agency: Interperformances) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds. French point guard Louis Rucklin (175-1999) contributed with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Guard Brunel Madzou (185-2005) replied with 13 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists and center Olavi Suutela (201-2006) added 13 points in the effort for HBA-Marsky. Four HBA-Marsky players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Bisons (3-1) moved-up to third place, which they share with Kipina. HBA-Marsky at the other side dropped to the sixth position with two games lost. They share it with HNMKY and Kouvot Ak.. Bisons is looking forward to face Kipina (#4) in Aanekoski in the next round. HBA-Marsky will play at home against Jyvaskyla BA and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
