There was no surprise in Las Palmas where bottom-ranked Tobarra (0-1) was outplayed by sixth ranked La Matanza (2-1) 88-50 on Saturday. La Matanza dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Tobarra's 24 and made 21-of-24 free shots (87.5 percent) during the game. La Matanza forced 20 Tobarra turnovers. The best player for the winners was center Axel Bello (196-2001) who scored 17 points and 8 rebounds. Argentinian point guard Gaston Zalazar (190-1996) chipped in 19 points. Four La Matanza players scored in double figures.
