Another exciting game where eighth ranked Pesaro (3-2) edged by one point 6th ranked Brescia (2-3) 98-97. Strangely Brescia outrebounded Pesaro 34-18 including 23 on the defensive glass. They shot the lights out from three nailing 15 long-distance shots on high 55.6 percentage. American power forward Kwan Cheatham Jr (206-1995, college: Akron) saved the victory by scoring 27 points and 5 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). His fellow American import guard Muhammad-Ali Abdur-Rahkman (193-1994, college: Michigan) contributed with 22 points and 6 assists (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) for the winners. International Amedeo Della Valle (192-1993, college: Ohio St., agency: SLN) answered with 28 points and 4 assists and American point guard Troy Caupain (193-1995, college: Cincinnati, agency: Octagon Europe) added 7 points and 12 assists in the effort for Brescia. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Brescia's coach Alessandro Magro tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.
