We should mention about the upset which took place in Valencia, where higher ranked Valencia (2-3) lost at home to twelfth ranked Araski (3-2) 49-67 on Saturday. Araski outrebounded Valencia 40-29 including 28 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of Senegalese center Maimouna Diarra (198-1991) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 11 points and 16 rebounds and point guard Txell Alarcon (179-2003) who added 15 points during the contest. At the losing side the former international swingman Queralt Casas (177-1992) responded with 16 points and 5 rebounds and the former international center Raquel Carrera (188-2001) scored 12 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Araski moved-up to third place, which they share with 4 other teams.
