Regular Season Round 7: Berck - Tarbes-Lourdes 76-82

There was no surprise when 12th ranked Berck (1-6) was defeated at home by ninth ranked Lourdes-Tarbes (3-4) 82-76 on Saturday. Lourdes-Tarbes had a 28-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great evening for American Devante Wallace (196-1992, college: High Point, agency: BIG) who led his team to a victory scoring 13 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Point guard Remi Lesca (180-1990) helped adding 11 points. Four Lourdes-Tarbes players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Alexandre Mendy (189-1990) responded with 22 points and 5 steals and American forward Kayode Ajenifuja (195-1993, college: Mercyhurst) scored 16 points and 5 rebounds. Berck's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Lourdes-Tarbes moved-up to eighth place, which they share with 4 other teams. Berck lost their third game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the twelfth position with six games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Lourdes-Tarbes will meet CFBB (#13) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Berck will play against Loon-Plage and hope to win that game.
