Regular Season Round 2: Chomutov - Neptunas 88-79

An interesting game for Czech Chomutov which hosted in Chomutov Lithuanian Neptunas. Chomutov managed to get a 9-point victory 88-79. Chomutov dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Neptunas' 26 and made 30-of-36 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. Chomutov forced 21 Neptunas turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Chomutov made 8 blocks. American forward Najai Pollard (180-1997, college: Delaware St.) nailed a double-double by scoring 41 points (!!!) and 12 rebounds for the winning side and point guard Katerina Bartonova (172-1990) accounted for 3 points, 17 assists and 4 steals. Chomutov's coach used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Ukrainian swingman Viktoria Balaban (176-1997, agency: BIG) came up with 24 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and Lithuanian Ligita Tamutyte (177-1999) added 18 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists (made all of her eleven free throws !!!) respectively for Neptunas in the defeat.
