There was a small surprise when sixth ranked Vic (4-1) defeated on the road 3rd placed Girona B (3-1) 72-62 on Saturday. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Vic forced 19 Girona B turnovers and outrebounded them 40-29 including 29 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was forward Jofre Canal (195-2000) who scored 17 points and 8 rebounds. Jordi Boix chipped in 8 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists.
