Regular Season Round 5: Chlorella - Pinto Basket 69-66

There was a surprise result when fourteenth ranked Chlorella (1-2) edged at home higher ranked Pinto Basket (1-2) 69-66 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was point guard Taiga Okada (172-2004) who scored 20 points and 7 assists. David Ramrez chipped in 12 points and 7 rebounds. Alberto Lopez produced a double-double by scoring 19 points and 23 rebounds and David Nieto added 11 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Chlorella left bottom position moving up to sixth place, which they share with 14 other teams including defeated Pinto Basket. Chlorella will meet BT Madrid (#12) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Pinto Basket will play against Quintanar (#10) and hope to win that game.
