Very predictable result when fifth ranked Metropolitans (5-1) defeated on the road 11th ranked JL Bourg (3-4) 95-91 on Saturday. Metropolitans dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to JL Bourg's 40 and made 17-of-19 free shots (89.5 percent) during the game. Metropolitans looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Metropolitans made 8 blocks. Forward Victor Wembanyama (220-2004) fired a double-double by scoring 23 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners. Guard Hugo Besson (191-2001) chipped in 14 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Power forward Pierre Pelos (205-1992) produced 22 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and American swingman James Palmer Jr (196-1996, college: Nebraska) added 18 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side.
