No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Broni (3-1) crushed at home 9th ranked Carugate (1-3) 78-58 on Sunday. Broni made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. Broni outrebounded Carugate 50-26 including a 36-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. The winners were led by forward Giulia Manzotti (178-1993) who scored that evening 17 points and guard Ada De Pasquale (178-1995, agency: LBM Management) supported her with 13 points and 7 rebounds. Four Broni players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 18 points and 11 rebounds by Croatian forward Iva Belosevic (191-1997, college: UTRGV) did not help to save the game for Carugate. Guard Francesca Diotti (175-1997) added 10 points and 4 assists for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
