Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both ninth ranked Pozega and 8th ranked FSV Rijeka had identical 1-3 record. This time Pozega used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Rijeka 81-66 on Sunday night. Pozega dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to FSV Rijeka's 36. They outrebounded FSV Rijeka 43-29 including 28 on the defensive glass. Loser FSV Rijeka dropped to the ninth position with four games lost. They share it with Orka. Pozega will meet at home higher ranked Tresnjevka (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. FSV Rijeka will play against the league's second-placed Zagreb (#2) and will have a slim chance for a victory.
