Regular Season Round 4: Olympiacos - Lavrio 98-61

Undefeated leader Olympiacos delivered the fourth consecutive victory. This time they crushed bottom-ranked Lavrio (0-4) 98-61 in Piraeus. Olympiacos dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Lavrio's 24. They outrebounded Lavrio 38-25 including 29 on the defensive glass. Olympiacos players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Lavrio's players. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international point guard Michalis Lountzis (195-1998) who helped to win the game recording 21 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. American center Tarik Black (206-1991, college: Kansas) contributed with 21 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American guard Aljami Durham (193-1998, college: Providence) replied with 13 points and 5 rebounds and his fellow American import swingman Savion Flagg (201-1999, college: SHSU, agency: Green Sports Management) added 12 points in the effort for Lavrio. Four Lavrio players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Olympiacos have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 4-0 record. Lavrio at the other side still closes the standings with four games lost. Olympiacos will play against Ionikos (#9) in Aigaleo in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Lavrio will play at home against the league's second-placed AEK and hopes to get finally their first victory.
