Very important is a road loss of third ranked Toulouse (6-2) against thirteenth ranked Tours (2-6) on Tuesday night. Visiting Toulouse was defeated by Tours in a tough game in Tours 72-80. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Toulouse. Tours made 20-of-24 charity shots (83.3 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Toulouse 41-25 including a 33-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. The winners were led by swingman Pierre-Etienne Drouault (196-1990) who scored that evening 18 points and 5 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) and Seychellois center Abdel Kader Sylla (204-1990) supported him with 10 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Tours' coach Thomas Drouot allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 12 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists by point guard Victor Mopsus (179-1999) did not help to save the game for Toulouse. Naturalized Ivorian point guard Maxence Dadiet (192-1999) added 13 points, 7 assists and 4 steals for the guests. Four Tours and five Toulouse players scored in double figures. Tours moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Berck and Boulogne. Toulouse at the other side dropped to the second position with two games lost. They share it with Challans and Chartres. Tours will play against higher ranked Les Sables (#9) in Les Sables-D'Ollone in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Toulouse will play at home against the league's second-placed Vendee Challans (#2) and will have a slim chance for a victory.
