Regular Season Round 11: BC Lulea - Boras 74-75

The most exciting game of round 11 in the Basketligan took place in Lulea. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of 3rd placed BC Lulea (6-3) to leader Boras (9-0) 75-74 on Tuesday evening. It was a great evening for American forward Ryan Logan (200-1994, college: Stonehill) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. His fellow American import guard Bodie Hume (201, college: N.Colorado) helped adding 14 points and 11 rebounds. Belgian-American forward Michael Gilmore (208-1995, college: VCU) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds and American forward Brendan Bailey (203-1997, college: Marquette) scored 18 points and 6 rebounds. Five Boras and four BC Lulea players scored in double figures. Boras have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. They maintain first place with 9-0 record. BC Lulea at the other side keeps the third position with three games lost. They share it with Koping Stars. Boras are looking forward to face Nassjo (#6) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. BC Lulea will play against Sodertalje and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
