The game between closely ranked teams ended with 4th ranked Montenegrin Niksic's (1-3) road loss to third ranked Serbian Vojvodina 021 (2-1) 39-105 on Wednesday. The game without a history. Vojvodina 021 led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Niksic's 26. Vojvodina 021 forced 26 Niksic turnovers and outrebounded them 46-26 including 16 on the offensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of Serbian forward Lana Maric (188-2006) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 12 points and 16 rebounds and American point guard Shareka McNeill (168, college: NC A&T) who added 17 points and 4 assists during the contest. Five Vojvodina 021 players scored in double figures. Vojvodina 021's coach felt very confident using entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side Kosovan center Saranda Daci (190-1993) responded with 4 points and 8 rebounds and center Teodora Saric (190-1998) scored 7 points and 6 rebounds. Vojvodina 021 moved-up to second place, which they share with Orlovi. Loser Niksic keeps the fourth position with three games lost. They share it with Zagreb. Vojvodina 021 will meet league's second-placed Orlovi in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Niksic will have a break next round.
