Everything could happen in Wroclaw at the game between two tied teams. Both fifteenth ranked Slask 3 and 14th ranked Gimbasket had identical 1-5 record. But Gimbasket was not able to use a home court advantage and was rolled over by the opponent from Wroclaw 98-56 on Thursday night. Slask 3 dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Gimbasket's 38. Slask 3 forced 24 Gimbasket turnovers. It was an exceptional evening for forward Kuba Pisla (197-2004) who led the winners and scored 21 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Center Karol Kankowski (202-2005) accounted for 16 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side. Four Slask 3 players scored in double figures. Forward Jakub Lewandowski (203-2001) came up with 13 points and 9 rebounds and Mateusz Putna added 16 points respectively for Gimbasket in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Slask 3 (2-5) moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with 6 other teams. Gimbasket lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the fourteenth position with six games lost. They share it with 4 other teams. Slask 3 will meet at home higher ranked Gorzow (#10) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Gimbasket will play against Koscian (#6) and hope to win that game.
