Regular Season Round 8: Limoges CSP - Levallois 66-56

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 7th ranked Levallois (4-3) was defeated on the road by eighth ranked Limoges CSP (5-3) 66-56 on Friday. Limoges CSP forced 29 Levallois turnovers and outrebounded them 41-30 including 27 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was center Gaspard Gessat (202-2003) who scored 18 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 steals. Mali forward Mohamed Sidibe (196-2002) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Bilal Coulibaly (196-2004) produced 13 points and 4 assists and guard Adel Alain (188-2004) added 11 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Limoges CSP moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 4 other teams. Levallois lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth position with three games lost. Limoges CSP will meet Monaco (#13) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Levallois will play against Nanterre (#12) and hope to secure a win.
