The game had a very big importance for third-ranked Mulhouse as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Mulhouse smashed bottom-ranked Hyeres-Toulon at home 98-66. Mulhouse forced 29 Hyeres-Toulon turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was point guard Antoine Dudit (181-1997) who scored 22 points and 6 assists. Florian Pouaveyoun (203-1999) chipped in 13 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 steals.
