There was a minor upset when 11th ranked Vigarano (2-3) was defeated at home by thirteenth ranked San Salvatore (2-3) 68-59 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was Slovenian forward Zala Srot (184-2004) who scored 21 points and 6 rebounds. Argentinian power forward Sofia Aispurua (188-1995) chipped in 13 points and 8 rebounds. Four San Salvatore players scored in double figures. Guard Giulia Sorrentino (175-1998) produced 18 points and point guard Giulia Cecili (168-1999) added 14 points respectively for the hosts. Vigarano's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. San Salvatore moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 9 other teams including defeated Vigarano.
