Regular Season Round 7: Tromso - Oppsal 104-59

Very expected game when 9th ranked Oppsal (3-7) was crushed on the road by fifth ranked Tromso (6-4) 104-59 on Saturday. Tromso dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Oppsal's 26. Tromso forced 25 Oppsal turnovers. They shot the lights out from three sinking 18 long-distance shots on high 51.4 percentage. Tromso looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Canadian center Cole Long (201, college: Detroit) fired 27 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Point guard Johannes Lange (182-1998) chipped in 9 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Tromso players scored in double figures. Tromso's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. American center Jacob Tryon (211-1998, college: Samford) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 14 rebounds and Isac Angelsen (-2003) added 19 points respectively for lost side. Tromso have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place. Newly promoted Oppsal keeps the ninth position with seven games lost. Tromso will meet Nidaros Jets (#10) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Oppsal's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Oslo to the arena Centrum.
