Very predictable result when third ranked Andorra (5-1) beat at home 10th ranked Burgos (3-3) 88-82 on Saturday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Brazilian center Felipe Dos Anjos (218-1998) had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds (perfect from the field making all nine shots !!!) to lead the charge for the winners and Serbian Mihajlo Andric (201-1994, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 18 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was Austrian-Slovenian center Rasid Mahalbasic (210-1990, agency: BeoBasket) with 10 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and American forward Calvin Hermanson (198-1994, college: St.Mary's, CA) scored 17 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Andorra keeps a position of league leader, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Burgos dropped to the ninth place with three games lost. They share the position with Coruna. Andorra will meet Iraurgi SB (#16) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Burgos will play against Gipuzkoa (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
