Rather expected game in Dabrowa Gornicza where 12th ranked MKS DG 2 (2-5) was defeated by ninth ranked Cracovia (3-2) 78-70 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was guard Dawid Golus (186-1999) who scored 22 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 steals. Forward Mateusz Lopatkiewicz (198-2002) chipped in a double-double by scoring 18 points and 14 rebounds. Four Cracovia players scored in double figures. Cracovia's coach Lukasz Kasperzec used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Kacper Margiciok (191-2003) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points, 16 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals and swingman Kamil Wojciak (193-1985) added 16 points respectively for the hosts. Cracovia moved-up to eighth place. MKS DG 2 lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the eleventh position with five games lost. They share it with Ostrow Mazow. and Tychy 2. Cracovia's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Krakow Korona.
