The game between Top Four teams took place in Vitebsk. 3rd ranked host Rubon (4-5) lost to first ranked Borisfen (8-1) 88-76. Borisfen forced 21 Rubon turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. The winners were led by American forward Darrious Agnew (203-1999, college: Alcorn St.) who scored that evening 23 points and 5 rebounds and the other American import forward Malik Porter (196, college: Idaho St.) supported him with 12 points and 7 rebounds. Even 27 points by the former international guard Maksim Shustov (188-1986) did not help to save the game for Rubon. Forward Ruslan Pishcheyko (198-1998) added 10 points and 10 rebounds for the hosts. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Borisfen have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 8-1 record. Rubon at the other side dropped to the fourth place with five games lost. Borisfen will play against league's second-placed Grodno at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Rubon will play against Gomel and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
