There was an upset when higher ranked Vicenza (4-2) was defeated on the road by ninth ranked Bergamo (3-2) 87-81 on Saturday. Bergamo made 22-of-26 free shots (84.6 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was forward Salvatore Genovese (200-1987, agency: Interperformances) who scored 25 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field).
