Regular Season Round 6: Igualada - SESE 53-55

There was a small surprise when twelfth ranked SESE (2-4) edged on the road 10th ranked Igualada (2-4) 55-53 on Saturday. Power forward Alberto Reyes (195-1990) scored 8 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and center Fernand Vilar (202-2003, agency: BIG) chipped in 14 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was center Marc Bernadi (205-1993) with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds and center Eduard Tejero (196-1992) scored 7 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. SESE moved-up to eighth place, which they share with 10 other teams including defeated Igualada. Igualada lost fourth consecutive game. SESE will meet at home higher ranked Tarragona (#6) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Igualada will play against Roser and hope to secure a win.
