Very predictable result when tenth ranked Megaridas (3-2) outscored at home bottom-ranked Kavalas (0-5) 86-62 on Saturday. Megaridas made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 21 Kavalas turnovers and outrebounded them 42-27 including 29 on the defensive glass. Megaridas looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Kavalas' players. Forward Akis Kallinikidis (197-1977) stepped up and scored 8 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and forward Minas Papagiannis (200-2002) chipped in 7 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Marios Tsellos (190-2000) responded with 17 points and guard Savvas Pehlivanidis (186-2002) scored 12 points and 7 rebounds.
