Leader Levice delivered the sixth victory on Saturday night. This time they beat 6th ranked Prievidza (2-5) 69-56. It was a great evening for American forward Deshawn Freeman (201-1994, college: Rutgers, agency: One Motive Sports) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. His fellow American import forward Tre McCallum (201-1995, college: DePaul) helped adding 15 points. Four Levice players scored in double figures. At the losing side American forward Kellon Taylor (198-1998, college: McNeese St., agency: Players Group) responded with 21 points and 8 rebounds and Serbian point guard Djukan Djukanovic (182-1992) scored 7 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Prievidza's coach Krunoslav Krajnovic tested ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Levice have a solid series of four victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 6-1 record. Prievidza lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom position with five games lost. They share it with Handlova and Lucenec. Levice will meet Lucenec (#7) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Prievidza will play against Handlova and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
