Very expected game when 7th ranked Kalmar 2 (2-5) was defeated on the road by third ranked Nassjo 2 (4-3) 100-87 on Saturday. Nassjo 2 forced 21 Kalmar 2 turnovers and outrebounded them 55-35 including a 20-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Power forward Anton Politis (204-2003) fired a double-double by scoring 18 points and 15 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. Hampus Andersson chipped in 28 points and 5 assists. Forward Casper Ronquist (195-1997) produced 24 points and 7 rebounds and Antonius Allko added 19 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Kalmar 2's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Newly promoted Nassjo 2 maintains third place with 4-3 record having just one point less than leader Aros, which they share with Akersberga. Loser Kalmar 2 dropped to the eighth position with five games lost. Nassjo 2 will meet at home league's leader Djurgarden in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Kalmar 2 will play against NUBF (#10) in Norrkoping and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
