Rather expected game when 5th ranked Polonia W-wa (2-2) was defeated on the road by second ranked Arka Gdynia (5-1) 74-62. Arka Gdynia outrebounded Polonia W-wa 45-26 including a 31-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Arka Gdynia brought some defensive toughness making 9 blocks. Center Magdalena Szymkiewicz (180-2002) notched 15 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and American center Kristina Higgins (196-1994, college: Baylor) supported her with 20 points (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field).
