Regular Season Round 6: Wisla Krakow - Rybnik 67-66

Seventh-ranked Rybnik (2-4) made lots of trouble for top-ranked Wisla Krakow (6-0). Wisla Krakow managed to secure only one-point victory 67-66. However their fans expected much easier game. Wisla Krakow players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. It was a good game for point guard Martyna Jasiulewicz (173-1998) who saved her team from a defeat with 20 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Martyna Stasiuk (178-1989) contributed with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Power forward Martyna Czyzewska (189-1992) replied with 20 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) and Beata Jurczynska (181-1995) added 15 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Rybnik. Wisla Krakow have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 6-0 record. Rybnik at the other side dropped to the ninth place with four games lost. They share the position with Widzew. Wisla Krakow will play against Swarzedz (#7) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Rybnik will play against Enea AZS II P. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
