Regular Season Round 8: Monaco - Dijon 80-65

There was a surprise result when fifteenth ranked Monaco (3-4) won against at home higher ranked Dijon (5-3) 80-65 on Sunday. Monaco looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was forward Matys Pommier (196-2002) who scored 19 points and 9 rebounds. Ambroise Couture (199-2002) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds. Monaco's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Evann Gauthier (185-2003) produced 16 points and 8 assists and forward Marius Balanca (200-2004) added 11 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Monaco moved-up to thirteenth place. Dijon lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with three games lost.
